	East St. Louis is a very troubled place, and would certainly not be a "major suburb" of St. Louis under any definition of "major" or "suburb." It has lost more than half its population since 1980 and was less than 30,000 people in the 2010 census. Nearly all the major suburbs of St. Louis are to the west, not across the river. Belleville is the largest suburb on the Illinois side, with about 44,000 residents.

	@eab21: That's only when you go by city limits. The Miami, Tampa and Orlando MSAs are each over 1 million -- huge suburbs and urban agglomerations. And then there's a ridiculous number of small towns and retirement communities.

	Living in Syracuse, Albany and Chicago helped a lot on this quiz. I didn't realize Elgin and Waukegan were so big though, I guessed a lot of other suburbs to no avail but didn't try those two.

	I got 9 out of 10 for new york, which is all that mattered for me to be able to live with myself. I just had to look up Mt Vernon since I never heard of it - thanks for the teachable moment.
