Just a game note: Relating to the URL, Wyoming, Michigan was close to making the list, and is in fact larger than Cheyenne.

Uh, Clinton, Michigan isn't a city.

Also, Cary, North Carolina isn't a city. And, many of the populations are not correct. Most are from the 2010 Census, but quite a few are not - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Altoona, Pennsylvania, and all cities in Ohio have old populations listed.

Clinton is debatable, but Cary, NC is definitely a city. As for the populations, I will fix those.

I wouldn't call Clinton debatable since it is a township. And Cary is a town, as stated right on their website (in the URL, in fact).

Great quiz. I can't believe I forgot Lorain - it's in the county next to me.

Cary is a city and Clinton is a township, but they are both municipalities of the state so I agree that they should be on the quiz (though possibly a note should be added saying that all types of municipalities are on the quiz). Excellent quiz.

@someonerandom: If all municipalities were included, then the Pennsylvania list would be quite different (speaking as a native Pennsylvanian), as many townships that comprise the Philly suburbs would have to be added: Lower Merion Twp= 57,201; Abington Twp= 55,649; Bensalem Twp= 57,611; Bristol Twp= 57,689; Haverford Twp= 49,605; Upper Darby Twp= 79,422.

Well, you can choose two different readings of "cities". One is to read it as "municipalities", for which those PA townships need to be added. Another one is to read it as "places", a census definition that includes only those municipalities they consider to be a place as well and some unincorporated communities as CDPs. Clinton, MI is a place (CDP) as well, but so is Levittown, PA (52,983)

Is it unhealthy that I got all of Ohio's cities, yet I live in New York?

2010 Census data says Troy is the 10th largest city in Michigan not Clinton (which isn't a city).

As mentioned by msubri, Clinton (Michigan) is not a city. It's a charter township and is technically unincorporated.

I didn't know there is a Roswell, Georgia. According to the stats, over 96% of the players didn't either. Seemingly the idea of making an UFO crash near the city to make it widely known originated earlier in other state.

I lived in Roswell, GA from ages 6 months to 13 years old. It is a lovely town. Great place to raise kids in suburbia too.

I live in Kalamazoo, and I typed it because I was told by my friend that it has more people than Ann Arbor. I was confused when it wasn't on there, then looked up Kalamazoo on Wikipedia and found out that my friend was just being stupid.

I can't believe even 12 % got Altoona, PA. I thought it would be last.
