| This seems to be a list of countries in the watersheds of these rivers, not the countries through which the longest course of the rivers flows. The Amazon doesn't flow through Guyana or Venezuela - at least not the part that is being measured to make it the second longest river in the world. Similarly, the Blue Nile rises in Ethiopia, the White in Lake Victoria in Uganda. The White Nile is what is being measured to give the Nile its length, and doesn't flow through Ethiopia or Eritrea. |
