are they already assuming that Robinson Cano had already broken out prior to this year? otherwise, he should definitely be on this list. he practically carried the offense for some of the year

to kennedyfan: Cano was already considered probably in the top 2 or 3 second basemen in the AL before this year so it wasnt really a breakout year even though it was possibly his best so far

I guess Joey Votto's ridiculous improvement and MVP-caliber year wasn't as good as the breakout season that 10-year veteran Aubrey Huff had.

Agreed. It's ridiculous to leave Joey Votto off this list. What kind of idiots put this thing together? ..Oh, right. Bleacher Report. What a waste of time.
