| Why isn't Nigeria or Palau on here? |
 | HPZ: | Oct 2nd, 2009 at 14:35 GMT | | 2 points |
| Agreed regarding Nigeria and Palau. Palau isn't on the list cited by the source, but Nigeria is. Peru might make a nice bonus answer, as the civil version of their national flag is only red and white. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Peru |

| Argentina once required the plain blue-white-blue triband for civil use, and the flag with the yellow sun on it for government use only. A law passed in 1985 gives everyone the right to use the flag with the sun, but the plain two-color flag is still legal. I saw the plain 2-color flag in use in Argentina in 2004. |

| Peru and the Vatican both have shields on them.
Nigeria and Palau should be on there. |

| Barbados has a blue Neptune's triton on a field of yellow, with two fields of the same blue on either side... so, only two colors. |

| Spain should be a bonus answer as their civil flag is only red and yellow. |

| Why does Morocco count if there are three colours listed in the answer? |
 | dje: | May 28th, 2012 at 06:15 GMT | | 16 points |
| kyrgyzstan not guessed nearly enough for a sporcle quiz. needs to be AT LEAST >50% guessed. |
 | WeaselKing1000: | May 28th, 2012 at 08:55 GMT | | 3 points |
| @ToughQuiz Because there's some dispute about whether the colour of an outline should be counted among the colours of a flag, since it's not the main colour of any element of the flag. |

 | emrock: | May 28th, 2012 at 12:20 GMT | | 10 points |
| England is not a soveriegn state, it is a constituant part of the UK. Why is spain not listed? The flag frequently appears without the coat of arms. |

| Qatar is definitely maroon, not purple. I mean, I'm glad it's on there! But, having lived there, it's definitely maroon :) |

| Spain should absolutely be listed. If not as a true answer atleast as a bonus. San Marino's flag is also used with and without the coat of arms.
Morocco's flag has three colours so it should not be listed. |

| Interesting that the civil flags of peru and argentina are listed, but not the civil flags of spain, haiti, san marino.... |

| A few I remember as sets (Japan, Bangladesh, and Palau are all central circles. Tunisia and Turkey are red and white with a star and crescent and for some reason Tonga is part of that 'set' in my mind. lol) |

 | Jeffhabfan: | Aug 5th, 2012 at 20:27 GMT | | 2 points |
| Paok, the nation is called Macedonia. They go by FYROM to appease Greece in order to gain acceptance in various international organizations, but as far as the country is concerned, Macedonia is just fine. |
