	The Portuguese word should be galês if you refer to a male Welsh. Galesa is the feminine form. (Also for French and Castilian Spanish the forms listed are the masculine ones). Or, to be politically correct, it would be better to include both genders, i.e. Gallois/Galloise for French, Galés/Galesa for Castilian and Galês/Galesa for Portuguese.

	I think the "Welsh" here refers to the Welsh language, not Welsh people. At least the Turkish entry does. "Galce" is "Welsh language" in Turkish...the word for Welsh people is "Galli", and for inanimate things as "Welsh cuisine" etc. the word is "Gal".

	@ulashima: yes, but in the Romance (Latin) languages the masculine form is used for the language: je parle français (and not française), parlo italiano (and not italiana), hablo español (and not española). Therefore, in Portuguese the name of the language is also "galês" and not "galesa".

	@Schkum: exactly. If you use the name of the language alone, it's masculine (o galês). If you use it as an adjective together with the noun "língua" (language), it's feminine (a língua galesa) because "língua" is feminine. It's alike in all the Romance languages. Probably French is better known to you: "je parle français" (masc.) but "je parle la langue française" (fem.)

	This is the problem for making quizzes with languages one doesn't speak. We do rely on Google translate too much, or we decide on answers upon our logical rendering of the languages in question, mostly based on closer languages we know about. Once I remember someone writing "Française" for France. Apparently the quiz maker took "Republique Française", omitted the "Republique" part and made a short country name upon his/her own logic, but the idea fell short.

	i didn't use google translate i used wikipedia. Google sounds much easier. @wgisland: It was my understanding the word was magyar in english. Maybe it's just me who says it like that.
