| I'm sorry, but I think a dog's intelligence can not be measured the way it is. The dogs listed are easily trainable breeds not the most intelligent breeds. I'm not saying they are stupid (there is no such thing as a stupid dog...trust me, I have one :D ). I've owned some other dog breeds (as well as some from this list) and let me say my Cirneco dell'Etna was a lot smarter than my Poodle. He learned the tricks in seconds (so he was also easily trainable) but never wanted to repeat them for free. On the other hand, my poodle neded at least four to seven attempts to get a trick, but once he got it, he performed it every single time I wanted...
To me, intelligence does not mean obidience. |
