| Actually, I'm pretty sure the mirror shield isn't really required. All it's good for is those eyes that shoot lasers, but in most instances those eyes can just be avoided by looking the other way, or dashing with the pegasus boots. There are some in Turtle Rock that shoot regardless of which way you face and will hit you, but it's not instant death, you can just take the hit and get out of the way. The question though, is why anyone would want to finish the game without the mirror shield. It's like playing through the first Zelda without a sword. Aside from that, Ice Rod and Shovel should be fixed, but it is a nice idea. |
