What about the United States of America?

@bsd987: Ok, ok, and ok @magareto: As per the wikipedia page, it is left as "United States." As an American, I absolutely think USA would be fine, but I wanted to be consistent (which I suppose is why I didn't include "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland")

USA should at least be a bonus answer. Also, Lith-u-a-ni-a. Also check the box to allow us to leave off "the." It wouldn't accept "Republic of Congo" without "the."

Thanks for the heads up (turns out it was ok to get rid of "the" because it didn't bring any answers' syllable count below 5, but I was wary of that initially)

Not a linguist by any stretch, so I could easily be wrong, but what about Ven-ez-u-el-a? Maybe Ive just been mispronouncing it all these years.

y2jdilemma--It's correctly pronounced Ve-ne-sway-la. And USA should be a regular answer, not a bonus (and that's the trouble with using Wikipedia as a source), especially if you're including Micronesia as a regular answer.

finnoztoffee: the syllables for Indonesia are In-do-ne-sia. 4 syllables, therefore not on this quiz.

SomeoneRandom: I disagree, In Indonesian you would pronounce it with 5 syllables and English speakers would pronounce it with either 4 or 5, depending on their accent.
