| @david6k: I understand where you're coming from, but respectfully decline your proposed changes for several reasons. First of all, I design these quizzes so that getting the title by singing the words is a perk, not the main point of the game. I actually don't think it's necessary. Additionally, I choose the clips for inclusion on the basis of a few criteria, including musical phrasing and recognizability. If it's awkward to get the gist of a song in a few measures, it's not included. Finally, the program I use to generate the music doesn't allow me to switch time signatures in the same song, so some that I would have liked to include, such as Blackbird, didn't make the cut. So I'm happy with the way it stands now, but thanks for your comments. |
