The words from the title are, but not the actual title. Maybe you need to reword your instructions. But it is a great quiz. Five globes.

But I was thrown for a while by the fact that sometimes the title words were at the beginning of the line and sometimes they weren't - most notable on #7. (Well, that was after first getting thrown by the fact that it wasn't the opening bars of each song, but that's just because I can't read instructions.)
rszbdx : Mar 15th, 2013 at 23:20 GMT 4 points @david6k: I understand where you're coming from, but respectfully decline your proposed changes for several reasons. First of all, I design these quizzes so that getting the title by singing the words is a perk, not the main point of the game. I actually don't think it's necessary. Additionally, I choose the clips for inclusion on the basis of a few criteria, including musical phrasing and recognizability. If it's awkward to get the gist of a song in a few measures, it's not included. Finally, the program I use to generate the music doesn't allow me to switch time signatures in the same song, so some that I would have liked to include, such as Blackbird, didn't make the cut. So I'm happy with the way it stands now, but thanks for your comments.

And I did eventually get them all -- though I am pleased to report that my pre-teen son is such a better sight reader than I am that he did it in less than half my time :-)
