Great quiz! It's amazing how hard the ones that should be most obvious are.

why not just call it the islands quiz. Very interesting. If you leave the time alone my suggestion would be to not put them in alphabetical order, towards the end that really helped me.

I think there already is an island nations quiz.

I have traveled by car from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore without going over any bridges so I have reason to believe that Singapore borders Malaysia. Besides that great quiz.

Good quiz, but I would reduce the time.

zombifany you're right Singapore borders Malaysia. They are connected by a causeway which is on land, not a bridge over water. The same mistake is made on the 'Bordering Countries' quiz.

This quiz is a duplicate of the island nations quiz.

@kraikk, zombifany: You're somewhat right but that connection is man made. There is a causeway but that is built over water filled in with earth. By zombiefany's logic. France and the UK would be border states as you don't have to travel over any water only under it. Same with Manhattan and New Jersey.

A quick check to Wikipedia and Google Earth clearly shows that there are no natural land connections between Singapore and Malaysia as they are separated by the Straits of Johor. However, there are two man-made land connections. The Wikipedia community still considers Singapore to be an island.

Cyprus has a border with Turkey if I am not mistaken?

Cyprus is divided into Greek and Turkish parts - the Turkish part declared independence at the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, but it is not recognized by any countries other than Turkey. Aside from that, there are some UK military bases on the island.
