Per the link: The top 10 Nike endorsers is based on which athletes had the biggest impact on Nike’s brand, and are most associated with Nike. Impact on the brand includes the amount of dollars generated, number of shoes sold and associate of the athlete with Nike.

In that case, I'm surprised there was no Brandi Chastain. I figured she was the soccer answer. I guess she didn't get much exposure (ha ha) outside the US, though.

Nah, he never played in the pros, only minor leagues, don't think anyone would really say #1 was a multisport athlete in the way the other two guys were.

Couldn't spell Ronaldinho (tried Ronaldhino and assumed he wasn't the right answer). Soccer. Sheesh.

I'd say the most important metric preventing MJ from being basketball/baseball is how he was advertised. Nobody made him a multi-sport athlete in advertising. With Bo and Deion, the versatility was a major part of the advertisements.

Being signed to the White Sox simply because of his name (and the fact that the Bull's owner also owned the White Sox) and being a mediocre class AA minor leaguer does not count as a multisport athlete.
