OK, this is the first of up to 4 quizzes with number one songs. The others will cover the time after 1991, 1970-85 and the 1960's. Assuming there's still interest.
And boy, Madonna sure had a lot of 3-word #1's, didn't she?

I think this worked much better than the previous "slot machine" songs. Maybe just because it's my era; I don't know.

Interesting... About 40% of the ones I got right were titles I've seen/heard before but I've never heard the songs or even have the slightest idea of who performed it...

"Mony, Mony Live" is a bit iffy, since the actual title of the song is only "Mony, Mony." The "live" merely indicates that it is the live version and not the studio version.

@chocolatl: Same could be said of "Miami Vice Theme", but I'm going with the titles as listed on the singles according to the Billboard charts.

With the timespan... I think you could afford to cut Mony Mony and Miami Vice for actual mainstream songs with 3 word titles. And why is Madonna on here like 50 times??? There are other artists!!
