| I would suggest that Jeopardy (or Jeopardy!) is more correct than Celebrity Jeopardy. The name of the show does not change just because of special episodes--it does not become Teen Jeopardy or Tournament of Champions Jeopardy. Ergo, when SNL satirizes the celebrity tournament on Jeopardy, they are satirizing a show called Jeopardy, and not a show called Celebrity Jeopardy. And even if you disagree with my interpretation, I would say that refusing to accept Jeopardy is pretty nitpicky. I mean, I have seen every one of those sketches many times, and I would not have guessed the answer you were looking for even if I'd had another hour. |
