	I don't see the point of ending the quiz with a wrong guess. I mean, forgive me for not recalling that there is some black shading on the otherwise wholly red and white flag of Thailand.

	@Floydpink: There's also that biiiig wide horizontal blue stripe thru the middle of the Thai flag... But otherwise, the purpose of ending the game is to stop random guessing of countries. There are actually a significant number of Sporclers who can run the board on Countries of the World in the allotted time, especially since nearly every African country includes green on their flags, so "mining" the list with specific criteria (only red, white & blue flags) makes it any kind of a challenge.

	@deco: Close. The "civil ensign" looks like the Canadian flag without the maple leaf, but the "national flag" has a multi-colored shield with a green wreath around most of it.

	If Peru is omitted, Poland should've been as well. Or both should be in, whichever you prefer. Poland also has two different flags for different uses (one with, the other without the coat of arms in the white field).

	@Khazar: Poland's national flag is just white over red. The Civil Ensign/State Flag is the one with the coat of arms. I specify "National Flag" in the question.

	The usage of these flags is what complicates matters. As a sports fan, I've seen that the Peruvian civil ensign is far more prominent than the actual national flag. And on the other hand, I know I've seen the "other" Polish flag on several athletics competitions. But it's "national" flags we're talking about, and you're right.

	I'd say Hong Kong should very much be included if you include the English flag. As Newtoni says, HK is far more autonomous than England: own currency, press freedom, immigration, legal and justice system, etc. etc.. Calling Hong Kong "China" is about as misleading as calling Scotland "England". Personally, and given that particular issue, I think you could make the others bonus answers and just make this a 16 out 16 and bring the time down.
