A Request to the Sporcle Community: HELP!
I need your help to complete a follow-up to this quiz. I'm trying to get list of America's best-selling magazines in the 70s, 60s and 50s. If you want to know the top songs, movies, TV shows or books from a given year, there are dozens of on-line resources available. But if you want to find a list of best-selling magazines, there appear to be very few.
I've got lists from 2010 and 2000 from the Audit Bureau of Circulation site. But to get earlier lists, there appears to be only one relatively available source: The World Almanac and Book of Facts. It's been updated annually for decades with this list. I've found one from 1986, but I'd really love to get a list or two from the early 70s, any time in the 60s or 50s.
So if any of you happen to have a 1970 World Almanac or 1960 World Almanac or any in the range 1950-1975 sitting around (or have access to one), send me a tweet at @Rock_Golf (rockgolf was taken) and I'll PM you my e-mail so you can send me a copy of the list.
