| @nscox: All reasonable suggestions, but problematic for different reasons. Metallica's only really distinguish fact is the jagged first and last letters, but a) they don't really look good on "S" and "E", and b) I couldn't find a font that pointed the last letter in the opposite direction. I tried a "Yes" font but that balloon effect so graceful in Roger Dean's design doesn't work on most letters and in most orders. My best attempt was not recognized as being very "Yes"-like. The Clash logo you refer to is only available as an EPS file, which I can't use. The Who is only distinguishable by the one letter "O" and while that's in Sporcle, it's not much to go on. Alice Cooper would be good, but I can't find a downloadable font. |
