If you look at the URL, you'll know the inspiration for the quiz. That quiz is a Gucci. This quiz is a knock-off.

Also special thanks to my kids who convinced me that Yabba-Dabba-Doo was a better clue than "Yield" would have been.

I typed in Muppets for Waldorf, but I'm guessing you have to put the full name. You may want to allow Muppets as an answer, considering it's the 3rd least guessed answer right now.

There are too many characters who say "Excellent": TMNT, Waynes World, etc. That's the only one that I should've gotten that stumped me.

The first thing I thought of for Waldorf was Fawlty Towers (and the waldorf salad). After that, I tried Gossip Girl (last name of the main character). Perhaps you might want another clue for "W" or allow multiple answers?

Excellent quiz. I enjoy the shout-out, and for the record this one is just as good.

You could swap Dilithium/Exxxcellent for D'oh/Enterprise, if you're worried about the ambiguity with Excellent. That one is currently among the most gotten, so it seems to be fine, but the Dilithium one is pretty low and might have better success with Enterprise.

@Zabe: I've swapped out Waldorf for another excellent Marpocky suggestion that should be utterly unambiguous.
@marpocky: Dilithium's results are shocking to me. I thought it would be top 5.

I think you should allow Enterprise and Star Trek TNG for alternates. (Although anyone who tries Star Trek TNG will probably get credit for Star Trek.)

Ha, I tried "Big Bang Theory" for "dilithium" and "gamma"; never occurred to me that it would be the answer for another clue. (Obviously, I've never seen the show.)

Anyone else think "Family Ties" for "Aaaaaaay!"? Nick was a semi-Fonz.

A good idea for a follow-up, but I found it less fun, largely because of the reliance on names of characters and places. The original quiz relies more on commonplace nouns, and the fun of that quiz comes from recalling how each movie used that noun in an iconic way. Which tests a different area of the brain than trying to remember what character came from which show.

@Randall: Agreed. Hence the name in the URL. I tried to limit character names as much as possible, but with some letters I couldn't come up with anything better. I'm entirely willing to replace those if people can come up with better ideas.
@Laura: That would be legen- wait for it
@tmonation: Yes, yes I should. I intended to, and now do. Thanks for the point.

@Laura: -dary. I also considered Slapbet. But in the end I prefered these choices. If there's ever a "Name The TV show - Two Word Clues", then Suit Up is in.

It's not really a specific problem with this quiz but I'm really tired of having to fully type in "Buffy The Vampire Slayer." I mean, after typing "buffy" what else could I possibly be talking about?

I agree with SamB45, quickstep is quite common in So you Think you Can Dance. And I disagree with the people saying Dilithium is a bad clue, it's brilliant and well done. I hope you make another, and that it contains slapbet or slapsgiving.

I waited 12 hours for a new quiz and this is what I get? Some of those words are way too random and not specific to any particular show. The reason excellent got so many right was because people just typed in 'The Simpsons' for the sake of typing in 'The Simpsons' not because they necessarily associated that word to the show.

Good quiz but seriously flawed. As people said before the jump, Xander could have worked for several shows. To me Xander= Frisky Dingo.

i also suggest biggest loser for immunity...that's the most important thing to the contestants on that show because it leads to their weight loss success.

@sammyhain2365 - Apparently you dont watch the Simpsons then. That was one of the first answers I got right. It's Mr. Burns' go to phrase and, other than "Doh", pretty easily the biggest catchphrase from the show. I thought this was a great quiz. Really creative and fun.
