@yippee: The original 3-second quiz had the details that I've used. First download the latest version of Audacity. You'll eventually need to load another piece of software that will allow you to convert the files you create in Audacity to an mp3.
In Audacity, use Open to select the mp3 file you want to include. It will convert the file, and then you can drag to highlight the section you want played. (For copyright reasons, keep it short.) Copy the highlighted section then open a New Audacity screen and paste the section there. I add several tracks (usually 4) so I can move the cuts around and overlap/fade-in/fade-out/amplify/backward mask or whatever. Save the "project" after each new clip is added.
Then when ready, Audacity allows to convert the file to an mp3. If you don't have the required software (the name includes "lame") it can ask if you want to download it directly.
Save the mp3 file to your computer, then go to http://www.entertonement.com to upload the clip to the net. Once you've done that, the site will give you the code to "embed" your clip. Add the embed code to your Game Info page and you're good to go.
@mybeagle: No, sorry, that could have made the list much longer. |
