	Fantastic quiz. Black square idea worked perfectly. I love crossword puzzles and this one was an excellent starter quiz. I would do this quiz each and every day... especially if it got tougher as the week went on and culminated in a challenging Sunday dooooozie.

	This was a great puzzle. I would just suggest not repeating words across puzzles - when I was trying to type ASHES for the first puzzle, it filled in ASH for the second one. But other than that was very well done.

	I'd definitely continue to play these. They are just the right amount of easy/hard/makes you think clues. Kudos and I can only imagine the amount of coding that goes into this- it is very much appreciated what you(and many others) do to give Sporcle-ites fun quizzes. :)

	The "lost in chess clue" is a little off, because you lose if you ARE mated but you win if you mate. If you mated, then you won, so past tense doesn't really work.

	Good quiz, but three of the clue/answer combinations don't really work, and the problems are all with tenses/participles: "Mated" means "beaten at chess"; "acned" is "having pimples"; and "had" should be "Made a fool of"
