Maybe it's just what movies I've seen, but I had more trouble with some in the middle category than the first few in the nasty column. Love this format of quiz, and this was a fun challenge.

I just love any quiz that uses Bowfinger as a clue.

Oh Rockgolf, last week, I made this quiz for 12-letter long movies, but sadly I'm out of quizzes to post for the month so it is just sitting there.

I don't usually take quizzes like this, but I hung in there for the entire time and got 105. Great quiz!

Bravo to those who finished in time! I still had 11 left in the nasty column when time ran out.

Great quiz, thank you! I do believe, 'Dr. Zhivago' and 'Excalibur' should be rated easy though, simply because the first three letters are so very distinctive. Again, thank you - it was fun!

Great idea, well executed. Even if I did get distracted assembling fake titles in the last section like "Cat Hunter" and "Get Yeller."

How did you get 9 Columns? I'm not sure how to format my quiz and yours is similar to what I want. I like your quiz, by the way! :)

This should absolutely be two separate quizzes. Also, it'd be nice if the instructions mentioned that some of the titles were multiple words. I was thrown off because "Gladiator" was the example. But a cool idea that could be used for other things too, like books, music, etc.

I enjoyed the length as well (though I'm not sure why it was divided - some of the medium ones were quite hard, while some of the 'difficult' ones seemed simple), but would rather have had 20 minutes instead of 15. Just a suggestion - thanks for the fun quiz!

Ummm how about the fact that all of them were acceptable for answer as one word, like funnygirl instead of funny girl. But for the matrix, you had to type the matrix to get the answer. That threw me off for a bit because I was moving so fast. Also, definitely needs to be two quizzes because when it comes time for the difficult part, every time you type, it moves the screen back to the top. Very frustrating.

I ran out of time, but that might just be me. I still had a blast with it and got to invent plenty of nonexistent 9-letter films like 'Limhunger' and 'Love's Slaw' along the way. (I unfortunately wasn't able to catch the 'dicktrain')

@michaela: Good point. Normally Sporcle strips words like "The" "and" or "a" from both the answer and your entry. But that only works when there's a space. I'll fix that so "thematrix" as a single word is an alternate answer.

For some reason when I typed in "thematrix" or "the matrix" (can't remember which) the answer was only revealed in the 1st 2 columns "the" and "mat". "rix" was still missing. A little glitch in a very good game :)

I had the same problem, but when I typed it simply 'Matrix', it popped up. I echo philfallout: A minor hiccup, but a good game overall.

I loved this quiz! The time was just right, it had an excellent mix of movies, and the large number of answers ensured that it stayed challenging even after you'd gotten half of them. Obviously, others disagree, but I had a ball with this one.
