Why I "Picked" this game:
I don't think this is a great game, but I think it's a good idea.
The idea is pretty simple, and I think somebody could make a much better or more current version of the game.
In fact, I'll replace this quiz with the best new "jukebox" style quiz (or two) I see today.
The idea is elegantly simple: Match the song title to the artist without having to type in all of both.
To do this, create a table with Song Titles in the first column, leave the second column blank, and list the artists who performed those songs in the third column. Include about 30-50 well-known songs, all by different artists.
Sort the song titles, then prefix a unique 1-letter or 2-letter key to each song title. (See this puzzle above.) When you run out of single letter, go to double letters.
Sort the third column by itself, then prefix a 2-digit number to each song title.
Finally, in the middle column, put in the answers: the correct combination of song title and artist. |
