I've written over 100 quizzes for Sporcle so far, and I think this is the toughest one I've ever written. Heck, even I can't remember half the right answers playing it.
So here's some advice:
- All the answers are either 4, 5 or 6 letter country names. So 8-letter clues (Cola Dash, Gain Root, etc.) are formed by 2 country names each 4 letters long. Nine letter clues are a blend of a 4-letter and a 5-letter country.
Twelve letter clues are formed by 2 countries with 6 letter names. If the clue is 11 letters it's composed of one 5-letter and one 6-letter country.
All country names appear as they do in the Sporcle Countries of the World quiz. If you haven't already played that game, seriously what are you doing here?
Think of a short country name with an uncommon letter, find that letter in the clues and chances are good you've got one of the countries. Take those letters out of the clue, and the remaining letter can be reorganized into a second country.
Countries can be entered in either order within a clue.
