If I compared all the "Name the final fours/finals/champions in NCAA BBall" quizzes to professional baseball, this would be in Double A. Decent, but not good enough to be with the big boys.

141 out of 144, my first try. I am a GOD!!! Sweet mother of Jesus, I really can't get over how awesome I am. I could literally go on about it all day long. And now, I've written the greatest Sporcle comment of ALL TIME! Oh my brethren, would that I had the ability to pass among you all, so that my unrivaled bitchin-ness might rub off on you.

(Re: the archived comments) You know what I dislike about Sporcle's comment-section? I can't stand the way, when someone does well on a quiz and feels proud of themselves and shares it, they get voted down until they're hidden, but no one actually posts anything. I.e., folks will hate on them anonymously, but when it comes to showing your (fake) username, everyone's all sweetness and light. Be a little more supportive of your fellow quiz-takers, folks. Rant finished.

@monstro: I think people vote those type of comments down because it sounds like bragging and people don't care for baggarts.

@monstro - there's also the fact that if everybody who's pleased with their score posted it, the comment section would quickly become ridiculously long and unwieldy.

I have no problem with the comment section getting long and unwieldy, if the alternative is discouraging people from discussing their good results. The current situation results in the comments being a recitation of how badly people did and what they didn't like about the quiz.

110 out of 144. Good teams guessed include Holy Cross, Wyoming, Baylor, San Francisco, and Seton Hall. Bad teams missed include UCLA, (I could have sworn I guessed them) Villinova, Louisville, Stanford, St. Johns, and Houston. How did more than half of you folks get Texas Western?

Surprised that there were so many people that got 130+. Honestly, I am not sure if that was gotten just from memory since I don't know how many people would have guessed 2 schools (Oklahoma A&m, San Francisco) that are not D 1-A in both football and basketball (and are small conference b-ball) and an ivy league. maybe someone did get all of them from memory and that is pretty impressive. Very fun quiz. I am a sucker for college b-ball

@slevvers - I think there are pretty simple explanations for all the ones you're questioning: Oklahoma A&M comes up when you answer Oklahoma State, since that's what it became (and I don't think it's too much of a stretch to guess Oklahoma State, right?); San Francisco is well-known for being the alma mater of Bill Russell; I don't know why it would be so crazy that people would guess all of the Ivy League schools - they did generally perform pretty well in the early days of the tournament.

Some of these ought to be deleted: Villanova (1971), UCLA (1980), Michigan (1992), Michigan (1993), Memphis (2008) have all been vacated because of NCAA sanctions.
