good topic, but you need a 'real' source. An anonymous web writer who cites Wikipedia doesn't count.

Jericho is in Israel, and yes, you need a better source.

@robt9570: It would not be possible to come up with an accurate source for such a quiz, as the definition of any given place as a "city," "oldest," or "inhabited" can be contested. Such a list cannot possibly be precise. @balatjr: Therefore, I disagree. it's not a good topic for a quiz. @robt9570: "Long-inhabited cities by clue" would be much better. @Mr_Don_Draper: Is that a political stance, or a logical extension from the arbitrary position that there are 195 countries, and that all non-Antarctic land is part of one of these countries? Is Nuuk "in Denmark," or Noumea "in France?" The column says "Current Country or *Territory*"

Yes, while Cholula may be an old city for North America, it is certainly not one of the 10 oldest inhabited cities in the world.

Dear Dr Don Draper, The city of Jericho (Ariha) is part of the Jericho governate which is one of the 16 governates under the Palestinian authority. It is not part of the State of Israel.

That's sick that someone downrated faraznaeem for pointing out that Jericho is not in Israel proper. This quiz is not a country quiz. Look at that third column. It says "Current Country or Territory" and is a clue, not an answer. Not only is the definition of country not absolute, but this quiz doesn't even depend on a consensus on this matter as other Sporcle quizzes do. Lame.

Really getting tired of bad quizzes which have been done before and better. This has a terrible citation. Don't come and trash my games if your games suck.
