Ethiopia has been an independent country for hundreds if not thousands of years. (Its brief occupation under Italy was no more significant in this context than that of France by Germany, if that is the issue.) But, Ethiopia's borders have been in flux, so do you mean, countries that are today as they were when founded? But then, China today is not what it was in 221 bc. Other countries have been part of empires.... |
