| Could you have it so it accepts simply "SVU" or "Law and Order: SVU" as an answer? |

| he was also on the simpsons and sesame street |

| If he was on the Simpsons. It is completely uncredited. I cannot find it anywhere. |

| He's never been on Criminal Intent? |
 | madmax25: | Jul 11th, 2010 at 03:19 GMT | | 1 point |
| I swore he was on "Lone Gunmen" too, but I'm wrong. Good quiz. |

| @madmax25: In the X Files episode, Munch was questioning the Lone Gunmen characters. Mulder & Scully hardly appeared at all. |

| @starrynight I also can't find an info on that either. However, per Belzer's IMDB filmography he did appear as the character on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, so that's an added bonus. |

| Accept "Law and Order SVU" |
 | jwayman: | Dec 27th, 2010 at 21:23 GMT | | 3 points |
| Yes, needs to accept Law and Order, SVU |

| This link says he has been on 10 shows. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/belzer-character-munch-makes-tv-history_1039809
I'm not positive about Sesame Street, though. I remember Belzer being on it and I remember a Law and Order parody with something like his character, but I don't specifically remember him on the show as Munch. |

| awesome category! loves me some munch, he should appear on every show at least once. |

| C'mon, no special credit for "A Very Brady Sequel"? |
 | drn211: | Dec 28th, 2010 at 03:12 GMT | | 2 points |
| @Nolij: That link is incorrect Belzer/Munch has never been on the Simpsons. Also while the character of John Munch was on Sesame Street he wasn't voiced by Belzer. That said Belzer did appear on Sesame Street way back in the 70s. |

| He was on recently too. With a Word of the Day. FWIW, the title of the quiz is "Can you name the shows that Det. John Munch has appeared on?" and not Richard Belzer as John Munch... |

| The 2/3/2011 episode of 30 Rock made me think of this quiz. Belzer and Ice-T have cameos as their SVU characters while Jack Donaghy shows off the new voice activated TV setup he created. It was pretty funny. Time to update the quiz! :-) |

| Add "30 Rock!" |

| You are missing "The Beat", a UPN show starring Mark Ruffalo. The production team was heavily crossed-over from Homicide, and even though it only aired 6 episodes, one featured John Munch/Richard Belzer. |

| I still can't believe Community passed on its chance to put Munch in its Law and Order spoof. |
 | newtonsapple82: | Jul 9th, 2012 at 10:21 GMT | | 1 point |
| There's a fan theory that crossovers, especially Munch's, mean that just about every tv show happens in the same universe. |

| Great quiz! I love the character.
One suggestion: how about accepting "HLOTS" for Homicide: Life on the Street? HLOTS is a very specific acronym. If you search Wikipedia for "HLOTS", it goes straight to the page for the TV show. Also, if you google "HLOTS", the Wikipedia page for Homicide is the top result. |
