Correctly named answers will show up below
Answers do not have to be guessed in order
"1998" for NBA is 1997-98 season. "2009" for NFL is 2009-10 season. I know MLB MVP is not the actual award but you get the idea.
Time is measured only between first and last awards, so max. 1 appearance on list.

You spelled Johnson "Johnsn". Otherwise, good quiz.

Title implies they didn't win the award in the between years.

This could have been a good quiz but you screwed it up. Nice.

I'm guessing you meant to call this quiz "Most years between when a player first won an award and last won an award, as many of these guys won the award in the intervening years.

The title and quiz are completely accurate. I can't really control any inferences you might make, other than where I've put: "Time is measured only between first and last awards, so max. 1 appearance on list." Thanks for playing.

Significantly, the two "Woah!" numbers, the baseball leaders, cheated for just this purpose - to be able to play better, longer. So, if you want to see what steroids actually DO, this list is a better bit of evidence than the sheer numbers.

john wtf are u talking about...mays didnt cheat. Also this is not a better indication of steroids than the numbers. You must be drunk. Bonds numbers in later years is what happens when a hall of famer starts taking roids. You get 73 homeruns in 476 at bats.

It's weird to me how caught up everyone is in the whole "awards in between" thing. I don't see why Bonds, DiMaggio, Jordan, etc. should be penalized (that is, moved down the list if I did award-to-award span) for winning more than twice... Instead of dissecting my semantics, wouldn't you rather discuss the improbability of winning MVP awards 14 seasons apart?

When you say "the most time between winning awards" it leads you to think you are asking who had the longest draught between awards. A much better way to word it would be something like "the longest time between first and last win of these awards". Otherwise a really fun quiz. And yes, Willie Mays was using just as many performance enhancers as Bonds was.

Lou Gehrig won one in 1927 and another in 1936. A solid ten-year difference, but I don't know if you're not counting the 1927 one because it wasn't the exactly the MVP award we know today.

Also, the numbers next to the seasons are off. 1990-2004 is 14 years, but 15 seasons in baseball (you're counting the 1990 season).

Good points but I thought of both: You're right about Gehrig and the reason he's not included. Bonds won the MVP award at the end of the '90 season and also the end of the '04 season, a 14-year span. Your reasoning would mean a player who won back-to-back had a 2 year gap between awards.

decent quiz, bad title, too many excuses, and you just ignore a big 4 sport. change the title
