1. This quiz makes no sense. 2. I couldn't figure out what sport it was

I thought it made sense, especially as MLB is noted in the instructions. Plus, it's a neat idea, and well done. 5 globes.

I know they never technically played together, but Sutter and Niekro were briefly teammates on the '87 Braves. Niekro only started one game and Sutter was on the DL all year, but they were on the same team.

Wow is the first guy really the only one ever to only have 1 HoF teammate for his career? GREAT IDEA and GREAT QY+UIZ, impressed with the research that must have gone into it. 5 GLOBES

Mike Schmidt, Andre Dawson, Robin Yount and Monte Irvin all played with only 4 HOF teammates. tony, I used the BR oracle, which considers Sutter inactive for 1987; that's why Niekro is left out.

Good quiz. I was racking my brain for HOF Cubs in 2002, 2004, etc, until I actually read the instructions.

Pete Rose would have knocked Carter and Bench off the list and bumped Schmidt to five if he were eligible.

@rk559: I'm not questioning your research, but it seems odd that BR oracle would consider someone with a year-long DL stint as "inactive". He was under contract and on the roster. Stephen Strassburg will most likely be out all year, but he's still active. Hell, Pedro Martinez hasn't pitched since 2009 and he's still listed as "active". It just doesn't seem right.

@luke78, many people know that DP combination of the 1900s Cubs, so you name them and you get one, and then you look at his teammates and get the other.

This is a great quiz. Goes to show how much harder it's gotten to make the Hall of Fame than it was in the past, particularly the '30s to the '60s. When Vlad Guerrero goes in, he may not have any HoF teammates. Same with Barry Larkin.

Pita has it right. As soon as I saw in was early 1900's cubs, I typed in the most famous double-play combination in history and then from the teammates got 3-finger. I was actually surprised too, but that it was that low of a number.
