| This was a great idea for a quiz, because sports announcers refer to the number of ways you can score from second but not from third all the time, but they almost never list what they are.
What about a walk-off hit (that is not a home run) with runners on second and third when the score is tied? In that situation, the runner on second won't score because the game is over as soon as the runner on third scores.
I admit that that one may not be in the same category as the others; just thought I'd mention it since it came to mind. |
