| Couple of ideas. Chutes and Ladders: “Square 100” (the object of the game) or “slide down.” I am assuming both phrases apply to the British version, Snake and Ladders but not sure. Stratego: “Bomb (Bang!)” is a phrase in the rules that struck me as funny. It may be the only game to use a Marshall and a General. The game, Sorry: “safety zone” I was going to say “margin man” which is what we called the pieces, but I see that they have the name pawns in the Hasbro rules. Too bad, I liked margin man better. |
