Yeay. Finally, a Doctor Who quiz. Not to nitpick but I missed the three that were misspelled - Day of the Daleks, Warriors of the Deep and Remembrance of the Daleks. But great job overall.
Sep 29th, 2009 at 18:27 GMT
Oh never mind the last one. I guess I misspelled Rememberance of the Daleks.
Oct 7th, 2009 at 21:25 GMT
Nope, you spelled it right, FastEddie. It's "Remembrance," not "Rememberance." And "Warriors" and "Daleks" for that matter.

Absolutely great quiz, and I'm embarassed how many I got, but yes - spelling Warriors, Remembrance, and Daleks correctly would improve the quiz tremendously, as would accepting some of the widely acknowledged alternate titles - The Mutants, 10,000 BC, Inside the Spaceship, and The Silurians.

Sorry about that! It has been fixed. As for the alternate titles, since Sporcle wants sources, I took what came from the BBC website.

And now that I've finally become the first one to score 100% on this, I'll rate it as five. :)

Hard to do the quiz when really only the first 4 or the last 3 are visible on the screen at the same time. Only my fault that i didn't get more of them though.

I have a small nitpick. These aren't the *episodes* of classic Doctor Who; rather, these are the *serials*. The episodes would be, e.g., "The Tenth Planet: Episode 1" or "Invasion of the Dinosaurs: Part Six". Note that this is very different from the behavior of the new Doctor Who, in which a story is one or two episodes, instead of the four to six of classic Who.

Got 'em all *.* I back the above nitpicking about them being serials, though.

Point taken, though I find serials doesn't really fit well on the tongue. I would argue "story arc" as that's what we'd use in TV production here. I've opted for "Story" to split the difference.

That was very fun and challenging! :~) I really know my classic Who and I still only had 10:10 left on the clock

I call them "stories," too.

The thing about the boxsets, is I only remember "Dalek War" or "E-Space Trilogy" or "Trial of a Time Lord", not the individual titles therein.
