With no clues of any sort, you must allow guesses, not going down the list one by one hoping to think of the exact one who was randomly placed in that spot. It's a nice idea, but could be done in a much better way.

There are way more Jane Austen characters than just these. Also don't make people answer in order, and allow more flexibility in answers (e.g. Mr Darcy, or just Darcy instead of Fitzwilliam Darcy).
