I very much agree with the sentiment here, but I don't want Sporcle to become a place for political argument.

i agree that this might not be the forum, but i'm also concerned with the amount of misinformation and propoganda going around. might as well get the FACTS out there any place we can. nice job, rcamps.

Political undertones...but based only in pure fact. As a NYC resident, I enjoyed this little lesson to those who would seek to impose their subjective will upon the bustling business district that surrounds ground zero despite obviously knowing absolutely nothing about it. Kudos.

Sporcle is not the place for this in my opinion.

From Wikipedia: "The facility's design includes a 500-seat auditorium, theater, performing arts center, fitness center, swimming pool, basketball court, childcare area, bookstore, culinary school, art studio, food court, September 11th memorial, and prayer space that could accommodate 1,000–2,000 people".
Now if only those opposing the "mosque" could read, this debate would have been over a long time ago.

as another fellow new york city resident, i clicked on this quiz expecting rambling knee-jerk nonsense. i was pleasantly surprised. maybe sporcle isn't the place for propaganda, but it certainly has a home for unbiased and calmly delivered facts, like Kevin23 said.
