@rbradatl: This is a fine idea, but I think it would work much better without forced order; then lower the timer to accommodate that adjustment (maybe 4 minutes, and fine-tune later).
[The problem with forced-order is that most players are going to have a "sense" of names to try, but it is really almost a crap-shoot as to which exact order they are in, so they have to make the same ten or twelve guesses over and over]. - napb (History editor)

Great suggestion. I'll give it a try.

Much better! Now just add a bit of colour to spruce up the presentation. You can experiment on the Style tab, and try to find a nice combination whereby everything still remains easy to read. (Just avoid red text).

I suggest adding "S", at least as a non-scored/joke answer. Both Ulysses S Grant and Harry S Truman used S (not standing for anything) as a middle initial/name.

@rbradatl: I'd like to make the quiz an editor's pick in History, but first, could you add "Vice Presidential" and adjust the instructions:
"Can you name the most common Presidential and Vice Presidential names*?"
Then, also put an asterisk in front of the word "List" in your game note. The quiz looks nice now, maybe darken the 3rd column a little bit, so that the yellow text stands out just a bit more.

@needapausebutton: Hi, NAPB. Thanks for considering this quiz. I've made the changes as above.

^ Getting there, but look at the phrase again. You left out the word "
common
", the word "
and
", and the asterisk
in front of the question mark
.
Can you name the
most
common Presidential
and
Vice Presidential names
*
?

^ Well, you're a good sport to hang in there and complete the finishing touches. Trust me, we've
all
done the same sort of things!
The quiz is now picked, and thanks! http://www.sporcle.com/games/category/history

Its a shame that no one else has been named Spiro

Small nitpick: 'Chester W Fairbanks' next to Warren should be 'Charles W Fairbanks'. Especially since you have the same name, correctly, next to Charles.

Not a nitpick at all. Thanks for catching a glaring error.

One other Style tab suggestion: Change Number of columns from automatic to 1 Column, with a column split of 10%/10%/80%. It'll make better use of space.
