The Yankees were originally the Baltimore Orioles and moved to New York in 1903. The Orioles were originally the Milwaukee Brewers and moved to St. Louis becoming the Browns in 1902 and the moving to Baltimore and becoming the Orioles in 1953. If you're counting the Orioles and Yankees you have to count the Twins who began in Washington in 1901 and moved to Minnesota becoming the Twins in 1961.

I agree with Corms' comment. Also, I would require the answers to be entered in chronological order. Otherwise, all you have to do is to enter the eight original AL teams and the eight NL teams that date back to 1900.

Yeah at the very least this has to be changed to 'oldest MLB franchises.' The Orioles, for instance, did not become the Baltimore Orioles until 1954.
