Disney/Pixar's "Up" as well as other titles were excluded because they have no tagline. #'s 26-29 were included for those without a tagline in the actual top 25.

A very, very small quibble, but "Inglorious Basterds" is actually spelled with an extra "u": Inglourious Basterds. I kept typing it in and wondering why it wasn't accepting it. Other than that, fun quiz!
Feb 11th, 2010 at 05:36 GMT
yeah because we all know g-force made way more money than up and wolverine
Feb 11th, 2010 at 13:46 GMT
Yeah wheres up?
Feb 11th, 2010 at 15:42 GMT
On your source list, Up is #5, Wolverine is #13, and A Christmas Carol is #21, leaving G-Force, District 9 and Couples Retreat falling short of the Top 25. You should probably think about fixing that.
Feb 11th, 2010 at 16:53 GMT
you should make it that you have to guess each one, cuz otherwise you could just list the top movies of 2009
Feb 11th, 2010 at 16:59 GMT
I too was peeved by the lack of "Up" until I read the notes up above.

Fix "Inglourious Basterds."
Feb 11th, 2010 at 20:11 GMT
You should probably accept Holmes and Transformers 2.

While I don't have a problem with kids' movies, I'll never understand the ability to make millions from animated characters in ridiculous scenarios
Feb 12th, 2010 at 01:58 GMT
"Adventure is out there" would have been a perfect tagline for Up...
Feb 12th, 2010 at 02:26 GMT
you could make the movies with no taglines bonus answers
Feb 12th, 2010 at 07:46 GMT
i hate it when people dont spell Inglourious Basterds correctly
Feb 12th, 2010 at 17:43 GMT
Taken was released in February 2008, not 2009.
Feb 13th, 2010 at 01:25 GMT
The reason G-Force, District 9, and Couples Retreat was included was because Up, Wolverine and Christmas Carol had no tagline. Since I didn't want the Top 25 quiz to have 22 questions, I included some others. Taken was a mistake on the sources part, I'll fix that. But if you guys really have a problem with G-Force, D9, and Couples Retreat, I'll take them out. And for the love of God, I know I spelled Inglourious Basterds wrong, I fixed it!

Also, thanks for the other advice and feedback. I added a note at the top explaining the movies that didn't actually make the top 25.
Feb 13th, 2010 at 02:09 GMT
Taken actually should be on there. This is a list for the US box office and Taken was released in the US in 2009.
Feb 13th, 2010 at 06:11 GMT
Also, I know you are explaining why they are on the quiz, but you really shouldn't have answers in the explanation, especially 4 answers.
Feb 13th, 2010 at 18:14 GMT
That's what I thought, thanks mike.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 08:00 GMT
maybe it's just me because no one else has commented on this yet, but I find it really hard to read the black text against that shade of red.
