Nope, it was in the National Association, which sadly isn't considered a major league, or else we'd have five more teams.

I hate to say it, but you are incorrect about Indianapolis. They had a team in the Federal League in 1914. It moved to Newark in 1915. Evidence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_League
