Nice idea for a quiz. Quite surprised by the inclusion of Rotterdam and Helsinki, and the exclusion of cities like Prague, Rome, and Venice.

I had a closer look at the source and it says there that they analyzed if pictures in a certain city were taken by tourist or by locals and then gave a list of cities ordered by the number of pictures taken by locals. So I think what you listed above is the cities by percentage of pictures taken by locals, rather than the number of total pictures. Let me know if you agree/disagree.

Those mentioned plus Vienna? St Petersburg? Moscow? Istanbul? Athens? Dublin? Lisbon? Berlin? Florence? This list seems "lacking" to me to say the least.

sassi, I do agree with your comment and I didn't notice that in the source.

Actually I think the source is wrong. Looking at the original photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/walkingsf/sets/72157624209158632/ the cities are actually listed in order most photographed by Locals (people who have taken pictures in this city dated over a range of a month or more).

@sassi I think it's listed by total number of photos taken by locals, not any percentage
