and why does it say New York Mets (Giants)? The Mets were an expansion team and have absolutely no affiliation with the Giants.

Fix those two, but otherwise good quiz

Presumably, it says New York Mets (Giants) because no Met has ever won the MVP award, and the Mets were largely a replacement team for the New York Giants. It's not a perfect fit, obviously, though I don't think it hurts the quiz by having it there.

wow other than having a very similar insignia on their caps to the New York Giants, the Mets have no connection with the Giants and should not be listed up here anyway since they never won a MVP. You know how I know? I'm a Mets fan.

Also by your logic, Roger Peckinpaugh of the Washington Senators should be up here for the Nationals since obviously they played in the same city, and that counts now

Ditto on Caminiti. You were messing with my memory for a minute (did he die that long ago?). Cocaine is a hell of a drug. Really. No joke. From MVP to dead with a quickness.

thank you everybody for the feedback! My source only went to 1931, so I was unaware that Peckingpaugh was a MVP. Thanks for playing!

I'd like to know how many people really got Peckinpaugh without cheating. Overall a very fun quiz.

You can't have both Peckinpaugh and Mauer in this quiz ...

The Washington Nationals have no affiliation with the first Washington Senators, they moved to Minnesota to become the Twins.

Just to reiterate what others have mentioned. The current Washington Nationals are the same franchise as the Montreal Expos. The 1920s AL Washington Senators are the same franchise as the Minnesota Twins.
