| @eelshaveeyes: Adrian is one of the names that was both on the male (that I haven't published yet) and female list. It's not the most common spelling but it was in the top 1000 female names. I looked up Clare, MI and it has only 3000 residents and my cutoff was 10,000 for this quiz. Otherwise the list of names would have been much larger.
@montylaw: Shirley & Meredith both have less than 10000 population, and the other is spelled Salina and is a bonus answer. Socorro is a common Spanish female first name.
@redsxfenway: I didn't include any cities where part of the name was a female name. Again, that would make the list much larger: Myrtle Beach, Santa Rosa, Sault Ste. Marie, etc. |
