| I think 5 or 6 minutes would be a better time, 10 is definitely too much. @HiddenPalace: the independence of Kosovo is not universally recognised, but it's included in the list of countries for all other Sporcle quizzes, so this one is just maintaining consistency; similarly for Turkey being classed as European (I've never understood this one myself - the proportion of Kazakhstan's land area which lies within Europe is probably at least as much as Turkey's, but I've never seen Kazakhstan included in a list of European countries). Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are all members of the Council of Europe, but considered part of Asia by Sporcle and some other sources. |
