Morgantown needs to be fixed too. The correct spelling works, but it should also be displayed.

Great quiz. I completely failed at comprehending your hint; I missed Indianapolis (getting Bloomington and South Bend), but missed Norman despite being from there AND having actually seen games there. Terrible. Five globes though.

Long gone are the days of tournament games being played in beautiful places like Williamsburg and Corvalis and Murfreesboro. The almighty dollar has $een to that, and it's everybody's loss. (Except the network$) :(

Hoosier, it's MurfReesboro, not murfeesboro. I guess W. Michigan has never hosted a tournament game (come to think of it, neither have C. Michigan, W. Michigan, or N. Michigan)

Good quiz, although some of these sites were pretty dumb choices to host games. Ames, Iowa? El Reno, Oklahoma? Irrelevant cities lol. And @RyanBeingManny, the play-in games are played in Dayton moron.

Ames is where Iowa State is located so that makes sense. I have yet to figure out why they chose El Reno (or even what the name of the arena they played it in was called)

Tourney games were played in El Reno in 1955. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1955_NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Basketball_Tournament

Why is St Petersburg only a bonus? The 1999 Final Four was held in Tropicana Field in St Petersburg.

I'm from Oklahoma City, about 30 miles east of El Reno. I am stunned that 3% of the people got that. If I had to pick 30 places in Oklahoma most likely to host a tournament game, El Reno would not make the list.

I think Auburn Hills should be it's own answer. It's outside of Detroit proper and both have hosted.

I was happy to reach 50%. But I didn't actually need any sport knowledge, I just kept guessing cities in America.

Was sure the Carbondale spot would have been Champaign--very surprised UIUC hadn't hosted. Even worse--I tried Edwardsville (the other SIU campus) and never thought to try Carbondale.

never would have gotten el reno, pocatello, carbondale, blacksburg, uniondale, terra haute, logan, or pullman. when did they hold the tourney, and how big can these arenas be?

@packmanwiscy: Most of those are on campus arenas, which were used much more often than today. And Uniondale is where the Nassau Coliseum is.
