Doable without guessing... you sure? Might want to double check... stuck after 8. I have Washington, Reagan, MLK, FDR, Eleanor Roosevelt, Whitney, Anthony, MacArthur. I don't think you can confirm anything else from their clues... can you?

You should be able to get Ben Franklin, who gives you 1 or 2 more, who should give you the rest of the quiz

BTW, how did 4% of people miss Washington (given at the start of the quiz) and an additional 6% miss the one given by Washington in his clue.

Why only 12 minutes given? I didn't get very far at all in the time - a lot of reading required as well as scrolling.

William Ayers wrote Dreams From My Father, and he is not in the quiz.

One point of confusion might be that Eisenhower was still on the dollar coin in 1978. You might want to change the hint to 1979.

Help with what I'm missing here: Franklin clue says the bottom row does not contain people on all three teams (and I already have a red and blue...so there can't be a white); Jackson clue says Red has only one person who lived in the 20th century (and I already have Babe Ruth as a Red, who definitely lived in the 20th Century). Doesn't Lincoln have to be Blue? But that's wrong?

WalterH67: Lincoln died in 1865; he didn't make it to the 20th century dvx: Yeah, that's right. Obama, King, and Douglass are on three different teams.

Thanks, but where's the harm in giving it the maximum time allowed? Logic puzzles aren't about speed.

Purple: Thanks for correcting the coin, and you're right about Douglass, etc. of course!

Ah, thanks, like many I was confused about the coin, it said 1978 before so I thought it was referring to Eisenhower (who is also on this quiz).

Excellent quiz. Works perfectly. I did look up several of the clues but felt as if I learned something, which is satisfying.

Just to clarify to those who downvoted my comment above... it did say 1978 at the time which would have made the quiz impossible (since at that point it didn't have any other clues about Eisenhower), so it's not like I was one of those "stupider" people deserving a downvote.

Great quiz. There's a typo in Susan B Anthony's clue (Statue for Statute).

Excellent quiz! Took me four tries, two dumb mistakes and two running out of time (lots of reading, thinking, and some looking up). My only comment is that some clues are more critical than others...my last two were Mark Twain and Henry Ford, which I solved by counting. Other clues came out of order (I had already solved them). So in the end, the complexity of the clues offers a variety of ways to solve this, which is a wonderful challenge. More please.
