Since there's a lot of overlap, I decided to force the quiztaker to enter in order. Sorry that you have to type university so many times!

I would recommend just having "University" be a given. It gets way too tedious otherwise.

@LucasEwalt I like that idea, but I want to wait to see what others think before I remove all the U's.

I would have enjoyed it more if it weren't in forced order and had a much shorter time limit to compensate for that.

enjoyed the quiz, personally didn't mind the ordered answers. USC can also be University of South Carolina though. Overall, great quiz.

USC can also be the University of Southern Colorado.

I don't mind the forced answering, but instead of removing all the 'U's, maybe just have it accept U, or Univ, or something. Good quiz, 5 globes.

I aslo copy and pasted university so it wasnt too unbearable, and other than University, I dont think theres too mcuh overlap. A few, but not many.

This thing is jacked up. Starting with LSU, the words don't match the letters.

I have removed the word "University" from all the answers. Thanks for the suggestions. Note that the "overall correct" results will now appear a little skewed, but that will fix itself if there are a lot of plays.

The grouping is a bit messed up for SFA and VMI. Rest looks good...

According to the "most missed", 64% have gotten all of the answers. I know I only got all of them because I'd previously taken and memorized a couple quizzes which listed all of the D1 basketball schools. I have no idea how, and many doubts that, everyone else got them all right.

For instance Maryland Eastern Shore is simply not gettable by guessing, and I had never heard of it prior to memorizing the comprehensive colleges quiz. So how would everyone else have known it?

@PWT3 I pointed out in my previous comment that since I removed the word "University" from the answers, the overall results will appear skewed until there is a large number of plays. However, the results for each separate answer are fine.

Yeah, something seems a little fishy when only 25% of takers know what the E is in SIUE, but 67% got all of the answers right. I'd like to see my old statistics professor explain that!!

@BCSwede I was just a math major, but I'll do my best... Here's what happened: Originally there were 26 'University's which I removed by popular demand. The overall individual scores weren't readjusted when the answers were removed. So anyone who got more than 68 answers (the current total number of answers) before I did this would still be counted as 100%. Now, the scores will be calculated as usual so you'll see that 67% steadily decline.

Instead of removing university from every answer, you should have removed the answer in order requirement. I still like the quiz and the variety of schools chosen, but it's silly to do the quiz this way.

@themanintraining There's a reason for answering in order. There are a few of overlapping words. For example, look at the word Maryland. 67% have gotten it in UMBC, but only 49% have gotten it in UMES. Also, after I thought about it a bit and got the suggestions above, it didn't make sense to have to word "University" at all. It was too obvious an answer, regardless of whether you were or weren't answering in order.

This is one quiz I am glad you have us answer in order. I got them all except Edwardsville. The only E towns I could think of were Evanston, which is definitely not Southern Illinois, and Evansville, which isn't even in Illinois.

Maybe change the order of a few? I never would have guess IPFW if it wasn't right after the infamous IUPUI (which I knew).

@cukoos1 The acronym of a NCAA Division 1 university appears in the header of each box. Below the header are letters in that acronym (except U, which is University each time). Type in what those letters stand for. For example, in UNCW, the N is North, C is Carolina, and W is Wilmington. You can also see the other quizzes I listed in my first comment; they are similar.

Ah, I understand now. Thanks for that explanation. Even though I now get it, I think that personally, I need a bit more time. But I understand you may not wish to change it just for me, as everyone has different opinions - some people find they need more time, some people need less.

At IUPUI, the liberal arts, medical, dental, and law schools are from Indiana University; the deans of these programs sit in Bloomington. The science and engineering programs are from Purdue University; these deans sit in West Lafayette. IPFW works the same way, but IUPUFW would simply be too long an abbreviation. IUPUC, the Columbus (Ind.) campus, used to be IUPUI at Columbus.

If another is to be added to this list, try SLU. (People from the St Louis area refer to the "main" campus of Southern Illinois University as SIUC).

People requesting additions: please look at my source. I didn't choose the schools I put on here; I got them from the source, and I used all the ones in the source with acronyms except USC which could be ambiguous. I even mention in the game notes that these are official acronyms of the NCAA.
