A fine quiz. One small fix, however: The clue "peptides that activate opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect" refers to a plural, but the answer is singular.

A completely unrelated note: I'm aware there are many other possibilities for this quiz, but I tried to avoid really obscure words and words that have a meaning related to the actual word 'end'.

I didn't know if I was going to be able to ENDure this quiz. I noticed that the time wasn't ENDless, and I panicked.

The clue for ENDEMIC, which is an adjective, suggests that the answer should be a noun. Why not delete "characteristic"?

AAArggHHHH!!! I went through the quiz thinking of words that END with END and I was questioning my sanity/intelligence!! good quiz - leaves room for sequel.
