I turned this into a song for my kids, so I was able to sing it to myself. Good times!

They did a version of this in "the Wire". It went: "Goodnight moon, goodnight stars, goodnight po-pos, goodnight fiends, goodnight hoppers, goodnight hustlers, goodnight scammers, goodnight to everybody, goodnight one and all."

There's a great parody book called "Goodnight Goon".

We had a parody of this in college that we used to recite all the time. It went something like, "goodnight moon, goodnight spoon, goodnight swooning loons, goodnight stewed prunes, goodnight raccoons" and so forth. Clearly, this tainted my ability to give the correct answers to this quiz.

Can't BELIEVE I missed "Nobody"! I have such a great story about that one from when I was little.
