's Word Laddyrinth quizzes. This is a redone version of an earlier quiz I contributed but then retracted.

Interesting! And as someone terrible at geography, I was pleased and surprised to make it through to the end. (Minor note: you should accept "Denali" as well as "McKinley".)

Awesome! Fun quiz. Five globes.

This version is much improved, IMO. The arrows helped me realize the ultimate goal and I was able to finish in time--5 globes.

I didn't even notice the arrows. Could you make them larger (or change the colour for more contrast)? Great quiz though - the labyrinth theme is nice, but the question selection is what really stood out for me here.

i didnt follow the order whatsoever, got to the last question with about half the boxes blank and then when i got that last question right, it said 54/54. might want to fix that, although i probably would have gotten all 54 anyway

What was the answer to the '2004 Oscar-nom. film details 90's genocide in this country?' It's not Hotel Rwanda.

I'm confused by the last question. Do you mean the country South Africa or the region?

Way too fast, I knew most of the answers but couldn't get them all in in time.

Yawn.... @mirg The question asks "...in which country," so the answer would not be the film title but the country name itself named IN the film title. @Morbo Obviously, the question refers to the country South Africa, which has THREE capitals.

I was stuck on the Hotel Rwanda question for a long time as well. It cost me the quiz the first time through, until I super-closely read the clue. Yeah, the clue does ask for the country, but it's not terribly obvious at first glance, especially when in a huge rush. Great quiz though!

It wouldn't give me 'Pyrenees' for 'Which mountain range lies on the border between Spain and France?', I would assume this is the correct answer, and google gave me this spelling. Have you used an alternate, or is the answer something else?

joeflint - I don't know, it worked for me. However, in a similar vein ... what is the answer to the Chichen Itza one? As far as I know, it's on the Yucutan Peninsula ... But that didn't work ... I like the idea of this quiz but I'm not sure about it never giving you the answers. I like to learn something on these quizzes but I can't with this; without resorting to Google of course!

My mistake, I had already unlocked that clue from the other side, it didn't go up/down, I failed to heed the red markings. I don't know the answer to yours, I was lucky to get 16 (one of them was a fluke).

Tigerschick, you are correct but misspelling. Yucatan. Now I'm going to go look up which country besides Japan and Haiti has had a major earthquake recently.

I feel like there's not nearly enough time on this quiz. Geography is my best subject by far and I usually do great on geography quizzes, but I didn't even get halfway finished with this one before the time ran out! Great concept though. I enjoyed it a lot.

@Morbo: for future reference, 'South Africa'
always
refers to the country. When referring to the region, 'South
ern
Africa' or less commonly 'The South
of
Africa' would be used. Much like using 'Western Virginia' to distinguish from 'West Virginia'.

i dont understand the benefits of formatting quizzes like this. it just means i cant answer half the questions, and cant see the answers to the ones i dont know after the quiz is over. particularly unsatisfying

A great concept but I guessed the USA for a different question and managed to get to the final chain and ended up getting 54/54 even though I didn't answer about half of them.

After I got the concept of the quiz, I could do it in time pretty easily. I didn't know the island of Honolulu though. I love it that one of the South African capitals sounds so Dutch.

I ended up winning quite early because for the "most populated city in FL" question I tried Miami, Tampa, and then for some reason I typed Naples, which took me to the very last square. What was the answer to that one anyway?

Sao Paulo is by far the largest city in Brazil. Why won't it take that answer. It's pop is 11.2M, the next closest is Rio at 6.3M
