| This is a great quiz. Just one question: how do you get the "No mines yet" to change to "Boom!" when you hit a mine? |

| D is commonly used to represent Deuterium, a stable isotope of Hydrogen. While not an element, per se, but it may be an interesting idea to include as a bonus answer and not a mine. |

| ^ Unfortunately, you cannot have bonus answers and wrong answers. |

| I challenge you to try this quiz _without_ singing the alphabet song! |

| Freakin' Xenon - why do you need that e?? |
 | G2M2010: | Apr 10th, 2013 at 17:43 GMT | | 9 points |
| Ah, the Periodic Table. I will turn around and forget that I was here. |

| @caramba: Xenon without the e would be less noble. |

| Nice quiz! Wish it told me what we were missing though. |

| Normally, I feel like minefield quizzes are a cheap attempt at upping the play count, but this is a great use of the format! Well done! |

| @shorlin: Well, I just looked at each keyboard key and checked if I remembered it as an element. It's easier to go through the letters than the elements - especially while looking at the former. |

| I was hopelessly confused as soon as I entered "T" right away.
I should probably read the directions that I'm looking for right answers. |

| Got the three least guessed, but missed Oxygen!! How does that happen?! X( |

| So I forgot Hydrogen. What about it? |

15 answers. 15 answers. But I *know* there are only 14 current elements represented by a single letter. Why are there 15 spots?
(Plays the game.)
Oh. I get it now. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. |

| There has to be a mnemonic for this. |

| It's only fitting that I missed uranium and the quiz blew up. |

| Ran through the alphabet once and got 12 of the 14 answers. Went through the alphabet again more slowly...managed to pull out yttrium with one second remaining. Crazy. |

| @chux: Some anagramming gave me "Chips by funk vow", which sounds like it could be a Sporcle quiz. |
 | Nintenjoe: | Apr 12th, 2013 at 18:10 GMT | | 2 points |
| At first I had to read the title of the quiz several times before I fully understood what was going on. |
 | chux: | Apr 18th, 2013 at 14:01 GMT | | 2 points |
| @cuendillar: Works for me! Now I just have to find a way of remembering 'chips by funk vow'... |
