| Dear psubball1, I think you should have "Haitian Creole", or at least "(Haitian) Creole" in your list of answers, even if you don't demand "Haitian Creole" for the answer from the quiz's contestants. There are literally zillions of creole languages in the world. A creole, or creole language, is one which has often/usually/necessarily developed from a pidgin language, tends to assume vocabulary from its parent languages, and has been nativised by children as their primary language. |
